Choose a useful clip length

Short, focused loops are easier to use in a product interface and keep browser memory under control. This converter accepts WebM files up to 30 MB and limits each output to 12 seconds and 180 frames.

The selected frame rate resamples the clip; it does not preserve every original timestamp. Audio is omitted because GIF cannot carry sound.

Know what GIF keeps

The output is a frame-based animation with a hard transparency edge. If the source WebM has a supported alpha channel, the converter preserves it as binary transparency. It does not remove an opaque background or preserve soft alpha.

If your source has a flat color background, use the GIF background remover after conversion.
